The Group recently established the David Lloyd Clubs Together Foundation, an independent charity with a single mission: to change the lives of children who face the greatest barriers to being active through the power of movement.
David Lloyd Clubs has committed £800,000 to establish and launch the Foundation, supporting its set-up, governance and the first nationwide rollout of its two flagship programmes, Swim Together and Move Together. Delivered in partnership with leading organisations, these programmes help children aged 5–11 become more active, build confidence and, through Swim Together, gain the life-saving skill of swimming.
The Foundation focuses on communities where David Lloyd Clubs operates, creating opportunities for children who need them most. By combining the Group’s expertise in health, wellbeing and sport with strong community partnerships, the Foundation aims to create lasting social impact while inspiring future generations to enjoy the lifelong benefits of movement.
